Quick, easy, convenient – filling – and delicious.  Oh, and bacon.  Bacon.  I rarely buy, use, or cook with store bought, packaged, ready-to-go products – but I’m human – and on those nights where you could better spend your time unwinding with your feet up, sometimes you just have to grab a few things, throw them together, and eat.  Of course, you can replace the below suggested products with a home-spun version or favorite brand.

Bacon Jalapeño Tuna Salad

Ingredients:

1 pouch StarKist Autentico Chunk Light Tuna in Oil with Jalapenos

1 pouch StarKist Albacore White Tuna in Water

1/4 cup Mayonnaise Dressing with Olive Oil

1/4 cup Miracle Whip

1/4 cup Hormel Real Bacon Bits in a Pouch

1/4 tsp. Inglehoffer Stone Ground Mustard

Directions:

In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together and mix well.  Spoon onto crackers, rustic bread, or open faced, sprinkled with a good melting cheese, atop your favorite bread, grilled to perfection.  Top with fresh jalapeno slices.  Or pickled.  It’s up to you – just hurry up so you can put your feet up and relax.
